With an ideal location, situated along the far reaches of Johnston Street precinct, Abbotsford absolutely love hosting Weddings, Birthday Parties, Celebrations, Art Exhibitions, Book Signings, Corporate or Private Functions and more.

We have a few different areas available for bookings, with a max capacity of 120 patrons. We have a couple of beer garden sections (capacity 30), an indoor space (capacity 80) or some smaller sections within the indoors (for 10-30 people). Depending on the date and numbers you can book a section or the whole venue, it’s up to you.

We are available for private functions 7 days a week with a minimum spend or for smaller bookings of 10+ where we can stay open to the public, we don’t have a minimum spend.

  • We absolutely love hosting weddings and wedding receptions at House of Plants. We can help plan your perfect day, from Entertainment, Food & Drinks packages.

  • Our team are expert party planners and will be happy to help if you need some options for catering your private function, whatever your budget is.

  • We have a tasty selection of in house snacks and sharing plates from sustainable local producers.

    We also offer Pizza delivered straight to your table by This Slizzy Pizzeria. Just scan a QR code and wait 20-30 mins for delivery while you enjoy a tasty beverage from the bar.

  • We are proud to be a dog friendly bar. Pooches are welcome, whatever the size.

  • We have DJs or live entertainment almost every Friday and Saturday night, with some of Australia’s finest musicians.
